A complete guide to recording transactions, building monthly budgets, analyzing spending, and reading your cash-flow reports in MAPAN.
Recording Transactions
Every money movement in MAPAN is recorded as a transaction. Tidy records keep your budget allocation and reports accurate.
Money In
Dana Masuk — record income such as salary, bonuses, or business earnings into the Main Wallet or a specific Sub-wallet.
Money Out
Dana Keluar — record expenses and group them into categories so your spending patterns are easy to analyze.
Saving
Record money set aside into a pocket or savings goal to track your saving rhythm.
Adjustment
Correct a balance manually — increase or decrease the amount when your records don't match.
How to Record a Transaction
Open the transaction menu for its type — Dana Masuk, Dana Keluar, Saving, or Adjustment.
Choose the destination Sub-dompet (sub-wallet). If left empty, the transaction is recorded in the Main Wallet.
Choose a Kategori (category) — and a Goal if relevant — so the transaction is linked to the right budget.
Enter the Nominal (amount) and Judul (title), e.g. "May Salary" or "Monthly groceries".
Add optional details if needed: payment method, merchant, item name, transaction time, and notes.
Tap "Simpan Transaksi" (Save Transaction) — your balance updates right away and the transaction appears in your recent activity.
Setting Budgets
A budget is a monthly spending limit per expense category. With budgets, you know early when a category is getting close to its limit.
Budget per Category
Each budget is tied to one category, with a name, a limit amount, and an icon.
Monthly Mode
See a snapshot of all budgets for the selected month for a quick review.
Series History Mode
Follow the same budget across several months to see how your limits trend.
Budget Summary
Track your total budget, its share of your income, and the number of active categories.
How to Create a Budget
Enter the budget Nama (name), the Nominal (limit), and choose a category Ikon (icon).

Adjust or turn off individual rows if needed — the Ringkasan Apply (Apply Summary) panel shows the remaining income allocation live.
Tap "Terapkan ke [bulan]" (Apply to [month]) and confirm — the new budgets and goals are created in one go, funded from the Main Wallet.
