Keep your account secure and tailor MAPAN's preferences to your needs.

Account Security

MAPAN protects your data with in-house authentication and time-limited sign-in sessions.

Change Password

Update your password anytime from the Keamanan Akun (Account Security) menu. If your account was created with Google and has no local password yet, the same page lets you create your first password.

Device History

Monitor the devices that have signed in to your account. This feature is still in development and marked "Segera hadir" (Coming soon).

Two-Step Verification

An extra layer of security when signing in. This feature is still in development and marked "Segera hadir" (Coming soon).

Time-Limited Sessions

Sign-in sessions end automatically a few hours after you sign in, so you'll need to sign in again periodically for security.

Changing Your Password

Open the Keamanan Akun menu, then tap "Change Password" (or "Buat Password" (Create Password) if your account doesn't have a local password yet).

If you already have a password, enter your current password to confirm it's you.

Enter a new password of at least 8 characters, different from your old one.

Type the new password again to confirm.

Tap "Simpan" (Save) — your password is updated.

Profile

The Profil Saya (My Profile) page stores personal details used for calculations such as Spending Analysis and the Financial Roadmap.

Personal Details

Add or update your date of birth, gender, phone number, relationship status, occupation, monthly income, number of dependents, and address.

Choose an Avatar

Change your profile picture by picking an avatar from the gallery MAPAN provides — you can't upload your own photo.

Account Name

Tap the pencil icon next to your name on the Profile page to change it. The new name shows up in the menu and navbar right away.

Changing Your Avatar

Open the Profil menu.

Tap the small camera icon at the corner of your profile picture.

Choose an avatar from the gallery that appears.

The avatar is saved automatically as soon as you pick it.

Changing Your Name

Open the Profil menu.

Tap the pencil icon next to your name.

Type your new name (at least 3 letters), then tap "Simpan" (Save).

App Settings

The Pengaturan (Settings) menu — separate from Profile — stores your app's appearance, language, and notification preferences.

Theme

Choose Terang (Light), Gelap (Dark), or Sistem (System) to follow your device settings automatically.

Language

Choose Indonesia or English. Public pages and the sign-in pages are available in English; pages inside the app are still in Indonesian, with full multi-language support coming later.

Notifications

Turn Push Notifications and Email Notifications on or off separately.
